cksum — write file
checksums and sizes
cksum |
[file ...] |
cksum utility calculates the CRC of each
file and writes it, the number of octets and the path to
the standard output. If file is a single dash
(‘-’) or absent, cksum reads from the
standard input.
The cksum utility exits 0 on
success, and >0 if an error occurs.
The cksum utility is compliant with the
specification.
