REDO-STAMP(1) General Commands Manual REDO-STAMP(1)

redo-stampdeclares a stamp dependency

redo-stamp

The redo-stamp utility declares the content received from the standard input as a dependency, and compares with its last input to define the current target as updated, in case of same input, or out-of-date, in case of a different input.

The redo-stamp utility exits 0 on success, and >0 if an error occurs.

redo(1), redo-ifchange(1), redo-ifcreate(1)

In this implementation, this program does nothing, it only exists for compatibility reasons. This is intentional and not intended to change.
